数据联网的体系结构
演讲摘要:Network protocol architectures are designed to utilize available technologies to meet the society’s needs. Recent technology advances have enabled a big-data revolution with profound impacts on the society; at the same time they also exposed various limitations in the existing TCP/IP architecture whose design was based on earlier generations of technologies. Networking big data calls for a new network architecture. This talk contemplates the design of such a new architecture as well as its likely paths towards rollout.
