演讲摘要: AIoT stands for AI+IoT, meaning the fusion of artificial intelligence and the Internet of thingstest high technologies to meet 5G applications. Dr. Hwang will address the impacts of 5G mobile core networks, AI chips, faster servers, satellite system, and network slicing techniques on the Advances in digital economy and IT industry. He will share the system design and benchmark experiences of a pioneering 5G cloud/AIoT research platform just being built on the CUHK campus this year.
This research cloud was originally designed and constructed with commercial components at the Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Society (AIRS) on the campus of CUHK, Shenzhen. The system was optimized for big data analytics, AIoT , machine learning, and industrial robotics applications. We aim to open the system as a hybrid cloud to serve the Greater Pearl River Bay area in southern China.
